City of Ember Short Review and Trailer:

Teens saving the world from underground is the running theme of this sci fi film starring Bill Murray and Saoirse Ronan and a film based on the highly rated book.. Trailer below, getting mixed reviews some saying it’s a decent sci fi film and others saying it is slow, plodding and a bit of an anti climax at the end. We’ve seen the trailer and we are sci fi fans here, and this did nothing for us at all, the redeeming feature for us was Saoirse Ronan otherwise this film falls flat using all the usual benchmarks of acting, plot, storyline, directing, characters and general presence, it remains to be seen whether this is a success amidst all the usual launch hype. Getting good ratings on You Tube. Rating 2 and half stars out of 5 from us!

She was also a series regular on ABC’s “Bob Patterson” and NBC’s “Come to Papa.”

Aspen made her stage debut in the Pasadena Playhouse production of “The Lion in Winter,” and is an ongoing member of the Master Class at the Beverly Hills Playhouse.
