P J Harvey Birthday Feature

Polly Harvey known as P J Harvey to the world at large has her birthday today and we have a short biography, videos, live performance, photos and more.

Extremely talented lady this one, the owner of this website is a fan, but this music is not for everybody and is an acquired taste. She’s been around for a long time, can perform benchmark live performances with ease, has a mesmerising effect on live crowds with the ability to whip them into a frenzy with her raw highly sexed lyrics, she is a quality act and commands a lot of respect in the music industry. Her music style or genre is alternative or indie rock with some hints of grunge. Pure class and has inspired many modern day artists!! Receiver of many accolades and  nominated many times for the major awards but as yet to win one, another prime example of awards not always being an indicator of ability and mass market appeal tends to be the final deciding factor. There’s only one way to play her music and that is as loud as you can bear it!
