Lindsay Price and Lipstick Jungle

Lipstick Jungle is airing in the UK later in September and stars Brooke Shields, Lindsay Price and the aptly named Kim Raver. This show is the TV follow on from “Sex and the City” with a similar theme with career women and what they get up to after hours and we thought we’d have some info here as “Sex and the City” and the film sent this site into orbit a few months back. We think this another one for the girls!

As well as Shields, who plays Wendy Healy, the show stars Kim Raver from ‘24′ as Nico Reilly and Lindsay Price from ‘Beverly Hills 90210′ as Victory Ford.

This show has been given the Green Light for a second series in the US, so it must be pulling the viewers in and have some sort of following with the drama written by Candace Bushnell of “Sex and the City” fame, it has the pedigree and the viewing numbers, question is, how good is it?

Major marketing push in the coming weeks in London, it will be hard to miss. Buses, Tubes, Oyster Cards, Coffee shops, TV…..it will be in your face!

On February 24, 2008, NBC ordered six additional scripts of Lipstick Jungle.

On April 2, 2008 NBC renewed Lipstick Jungle for a second season after they announced their Fall 2008 lineup. The show will air its second season at 10:00PM Eastern/9:00PM Central on Wednesdays. The second season is set to premiere on September 24, 2008.
