Lily Allen new single “Not Fair” Official Video and Rating

Lily Allen has got a new single out called “Not Fair” the follow up to the pretty good single “The Fear”. This single is also taken from her new album with the catchy intriguing title, “It’s not me, It’s you”. This one is quite a bit different from the last offering she’s gone all country on us, best have a look and see whats going on!

Lily Allen and er…… “Country Music” this conjures up all sorts of strange images none of which really seem to fit in with the Lily Allen scheme of things but we’re open minded here, so here’s the vid:

The Verdict:

Interesting introduction, thats putting it mildly, Lily is looking pretty good, and then we get into the song and it certainly is Yeeeharrrgghhh C&W, lyrics are pretty good but for us that is about it, song does nothing for us, it’s not a patch on “The Fear” which was a decent number as it proved in the UK charts, there are better album tracks on this album as we’ve listened to the samplers, we would say this is more of an album “filler” style song and not one you want to release to be a commercial success but hey, what do we know. We’ve tried turning the volume up, we’ve tried playing in HD and NOPE it’s not doing anything for us AT ALL, sonically, technically or musically. We are trying desperately to find a reason to rate this a notch ot 2 higher but its not happening. Rating 2 and half stars out 5 with an extra half because we do like Lily and she’s looking pretty good with some nice sexy wriggles!
