Kim Kardashian and “Orphan” Film Premiere and Red Carpet Celeb Tip No 6

Kim Kardashian, TV Personality, one of the top socialite’s and a bit of a looker and thats putting it mildly, with curves to match, was at the “Orphan” film premiere held in Westwood, LAÂ on 21 JulyÂ last week, an article we didn’t include here, for reasons you will find out later below. A photographers dream based on years of experience of being photographed from every angle.

This selection of photos caught our eye taken at this premiere and KimÂ forms the basis of Celeb Tip No6 “How to attend a Red Carpet event and be the Red Carpet showstopper!”

All the steps must be followed, miss out one and its “Curtains”

1. When attending these sort of events, its all in the dress, get that sorted everything else will fall into place. Classy and sexy is the KK formula and monochrome is her normal choice of colouring which sets her off a treat.

2. This is no place to experiment, tried and trusted colours are best for the red carpet look, don’t end up as the “Red Carpet Disaster” in the press the next day, this can seriously affect credibility, careerÂ and whether you get invited to future “quality” premiere’s.

3. Check what the competition are wearing, DO NOT get caught in the “same dress” trap as another star this is the NIGHTMARE red carpet scenario to be avoided at all costs. If caught in this “same dress” trap see No 4 if not skip to No 5

4. Same Dress Trap tactics. Simple, if you know in advance about the “same dress” scenario and you HAVE TO know in advance,Â there’s only one thing to do, get their first before the other “same dress” wearer!This must be done at all costs, tooth and nail, beak and claw if needs be, who ever gets their first, they bought the the dress first, whether they did or not is immaterial…..its that simple and the other “same dress wearer” dies the red carpet death.

5. Posing. Always pose to show off your best assets, hand on hip is good, the crossed “scissor legs” are also good and the facing forward but head turning back is a killer but do not over use. The profile as in side shot is also a good and easy pose. Always carry a matching clutch bag!

6. The Hair Toss. If you can pull this off you are guaranteed the No1 top billing red carpet headline, if you don’t pull this off, try and find a place to hide, unfortunately there is no where to hide on the red carpet. Motto: Do not try this unless you really know what you are doingÂ unless you want toÂ look like somebody that has just come out of a Category 5 Hurricane. 7. Play the photographers. This is CRUCIALLY important. You are not there to be photographed, they are there to photograph YOU! They are trained to find your “best bits” and certain stars are more famous for their bits than others such as Kim here. This must be played to your advantage, give them what they want straight away, they move on to the next red carpet beauty, and you’ve lost the spotlight. DO NOT DO THIS!Â

Don’t give them what they want until the very last minute, play them, Â and you’ll have the photographers chasing you up that carpet at the expense of the other stars, the spotlight will be on you the longest and voila you are the star of the show. Then give them what they’ve been after slow enough for them to take a good shot but quick enough to not let on you’ve been playing cat and mouse with them all evening! Just remember you are always the cat and not the other way round.

8 Make Up. Must be clever and exagerrated, go for the normal look, you’ll look washed out, heavier but skillfully applied (by a top stylist) on the red carpet looks dazzling, anywhere else looks OTT. Just remember the red carpet IS OTT!
