Kim Cattrall of Sex and the City fame has her birthday today, one of our favourite Sex and the City girls, and a good excuse to have her has top headline. If you can believe it she is 52 today, and still as hot as ever with plenty of the IT factor still in play1

Aside from her film work, Cattrall is also a stage and theater actress, with performances in Arthur Miller’s A View from the Bridge and Anton Chekhov’s Three Sisters to her credit. In 1997, she was cast in Sex and the City, Darren Star’s series that was broadcast on HBO. As Samantha Jones, Cattrall gained international recognition. She capitalized on her success by appearing in steamy television commercials promoting the Pepsi product Pepsi One. She also signed a publishing deal to write a book about sex with her third husband, Mark Levinson. In addition, she can be heard reading the poetry of Rupert Brooke on the CD Red Rose Music SACD Sampler Volume One.

Her film work continued during Sex and the City when she starred as Caroline in Britney Spears’ first film venture, Crossroads. Sex and the City ended as a weekly series in spring 2004 with an audience of 10.6m viewers. Cattrall reprised the role of Samantha Jones in the Sex and the City film, released on 2008-05-30.

Hayden Leslie Panettiere (born August 21, 1989) is an American actress and singer. Hayden plays the character Claire Bennet on the NBC television program Heroes. The advertising campaign and slogan for the program known as “Save the Cheerleader, Save the World” has helped make Panettiere famous.

She has appeared in over a dozen full-length feature films, as well as several made-for-TV movies. She provided the voice for Dot in the Pixar CGI animated movie A Bug’s Life. In addition, she appeared as the voice of Kairi in the Kingdom Hearts series of video games for the Playstation 2. Panettiere appeared on FOX’s Ally McBeal as Ally McBeal’s daughter, and had a recurring guest role on Malcolm in the Middle and guest starred in Law & Order: SVU. She starred in Bring It On: All or Nothing as a cheerleader and had a supporting role as Adelaide Bourbon in the recently released independent film Shanghai Kiss. She also appeared in the Disney Channel Original Movie Tiger Cruise playing the main role of a Navy brat.
