Jelena Jankovic wins Kremlin Cup 2008

Jelena Jankovic beat the Rusian Vera Zvonareva in 2 straight sets 6-2 6-4 to win convincingly in the Russian Cup Tennis Final.

This is a  third win for Jankovic this season and she said it was a tough match against the World No9 Vera Zvonareva who fought well,  but the classy Serb tennis player is hitting top form at present and the title was heading her way.

 Jelena Jankovic is ranked the WTA World No1 and looks set to keep this position for some time , and has replaced Serena Williams who was previously ranked the World No1 with her superb victory in the US Open.
