Hadise and new single “Fast Life” Official Video

Brand new number from Hadise, who was originally born in Belgium and wasÂ the Turkish entrant in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest, we’ve billed her as well as a lot of the media as the newÂ Euro Beyonce, and the new single from her is called “Fast life” from her already released third album by the same name. Part of broadening the FJ Girls horizons into some different countries that don’t usually get a mentionÂ here and seeing what interest there is in this. A bit of backgroundÂ on Hadise. Although she is Belgium born she does have Turkish roots hence her Euro entry for that country. She came third in the Eurovision song contest this year held in Moscow, she’s been around some time now since 2004 in fact and started out as a contestant on Idool 2003 which gave her the break she needed.Â She is a singer/songwriter/occasional presenter. She has had a number of Top 20 hits and says her main musical influences include Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Janet Jackson, Alicia Keys and Mariah Carey but no mention of Beyonce as she does look very similar in a Turkish Euro sort of way.

The Verdict.

Good video which apparently was shot in Istanbul, Turkey, Hadise is lookingÂ the bizÂ and slightly Beyonceish, vocals are there and its got a punchy catchy baseline and sounds a bit non Eurovision which has got to be good. Thats the good points, the not so good points, it sounds a bit sanitised, lyrics are not going to win any awards and for us it just left us with a “thats nice” sort of non plussed feel about it although Hadise makes the song and the vid, take her out, and you could have problems here!

An incredibly safe and neutral Rating 3 stars out of 5 with no plusses on the end. TalentÂ wise Hadise has got it, it will be interesting to see how this new album does after her Eurovision exposure this year.
