Duffy and The Q Awards 2008 News

The Q Awards 2008 Music Awards were held in Grosvenor House in London last night, it was mainly a night for male artists with 2 awards being received by the female artists. Duffy managed to beat of Adele to win the Best Breakthrough Act Award. Duffy was unable to attend the event to collect the award due to other commitments. A classic gong went to the hugely talented Grace Jones who was at the event in a true to form outfit and picked up the “Q Idol” Award. Coldplay dominated the awards and were the only act to pick up 2 gongs.
