Jesse James had this to say in his apology according to People Magazine:
‘It’s because of my poor judgement that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way. ‘This has caused my wife and kids pain and embarrassment beyond comprehension and I am extremely saddened to have brought this on them. ‘I am truly very sorry for the grief I have caused them. I hope one day they can find it in their hearts to forgive me.’

No further news on any public appearances regarding The Blind Side which stars Sandra Bullock and is due for relase next week but it looks like premieres and other public engagements are off for the time being as reported yesterday.
