On a more serious note with regards to awards, she’s recently been in Capri Italy attending the Annual Hollywood International Film Festival. She came away with a Supporting Actress of the Year Award for her role in Preciousas a very un Mariah like social worker she plays in this film, one  we rated highly for its sheer emotional clout when it appeared at The Cannes Film Festival this year.

This film is up for other gongs in the major film award ceremonies that start early next year and Mariah may be up for further awards for her challenging role.
