The Aladdin Panto in Wimbledon London made famous by the appearance of Pamela Anderson the ex baywatch star started two days ago without Pamela Anderson as she had other commitments?. But she made amends as she had her first night on Tuesday night and she was the talk of the town……in Wimbledon at least!

She plays a very unconventional Genie of the Lamp and appears in massive heels, figure hugging body and stockings and suspenders? She was a hit with some of the audience (mainly male) and not so well received by others ( the women).  She appears for about 15 minutes in the panto which runs for a total of 2 and half hours according to The Evening Standard.  The critics are still out on this one!

The main headline though is Kevin Wood the producer asked Pammie if she wanted to come to an English pub. She said “Will I Be Safe” he replied “Yes” and she said “Of Course”. The pub in question was a Witherspoons pub called The Wilbas Down Inn in Wimbledon directly opposite the New Wimbledon Theatre where she is  performing. As can be imagined the pub was probably dead on aTuesday night but that soon changed with the arrival of Pamela Anderson.

The Aladdin Panto goes on until 27 December at the New Wimbledon Theatre and it’s got to be worth a look!
