Monica Cruz a Spanish actress from Madrid is a name you would immediately tie up with a famous actress called Penelope Cruz possibly being a sister, and yes they are related. Penelope is her older sister and the resemblance is striking. She was at the Cool Room in Madrid promoting the launch of a new Winter Special K breakfast cereal dressed in dazzling red and it’s a photo that jumped out on our feeds. Very nice indeed!

Penelope Cruz is currently 35 and the elder sister to Monica who is 32, Monica is a dancer as well as an actress and has starred in a few films, not as many as her sister, but the acting is clearly in the blood. She is due to appear in a new film to be released in 2010 called Iron Cross where she stars alongside Roy Schneider and this looks to be his last film. The film is currently in post production.
