Madonna replaced by Lara Stone to be face of Louis Vitton

New flame of David Walliams supermodel Lara Stone who is buzzing media wise at the momentÂ is upsetting the “face of” apple cart as she has replaced Madonna as the face of fashion house “Louise Vitton”.

Â A major blow for Madonna who is arguably the bigger name but it’s the age finger that media sources are blaming for the change with Lara Stone a very fresh 25 making this debate a no brainer….but thats on face value.

Delve a bit deeper and apparently Lara Stone was picked by non other than Madonna’s friend Marc Jacobs which now sheds a completely different light on the matter making things appear that Madonna may have consented to step down, reasons we do notÂ know, maybe she’s got bigger fish to fry!

A spokesman for Louis Vitton said “After two seasons with such a huge star, Marc decided to take a breather and work with a model – and not just any model.”

Looks like to us Madonna was on the inside track on this one, she has many friends in high places and possibly budget cuts in light of the economic downturn may have been the reason for the drop…as Madonna doesn’t come cheap!

On a more positive note Lady GaGa has admiration for the “Queen of Pop” as she paid tribute to Madonna in her own fashion way when she was at a gig in Canada.

With a huge 9 costume change as part of the line up, her ensemble was echoing some of the outfits Madonna has worn in the past including the famous huge conical bra. Check The Sun “Who’s That GaGa” for more info!

The Madonna brand will live on regardless for a long time to come it appears, but we’re watching forÂ a “face of” headline in Madonna’s direction possibly in the future!
