Avatar is currently doing the promo run around Europe and the latest stop was a photocall in Berlin. Sigourney Weaver of “Alien” fame and co star Zoe Saldana did the honours in the “Avatar” promo duties. Michelle Rodriguez also stars!

Here’s some Avatar film facts and numbers!

1. More than 3000 Special effects shots are in the film.

2. Only 24 shots don’t use special effects.

3. 37 of the cast are real, thousands of the cast are digitally created.

4. Filmed in five locations, including 2 in Hawaii, 1 in New Zealand, and Los Angeles and Playa Vista in California.

5. James Cameron last movie Titanic cost £122 Million and earnt £1Billion wordlwide and won a slew of Oscars. Avatar has blown a whopping £300Million in comparison.
