Kate Hudson and the “Nine” Film Premiere, London

A big premiere this one, make no mistake, the all star cast in this Harvey Weinstein/Marc Platt film is stellar including names such as Kate Hudson, Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman, Marion Cotillard, Judi Dench, Fergie and classic all time star Sophia Loren.Â Some heavyweight credentials here, doesn’t mean it will beÂ a good film but from what snippets we have seen this looks to be a box office smash.

Kate Hudson wowed us in the red carpet stakes just pipping the others, she’s a natural and knows how to work those photographers like nothing else. She’s fun and stunning looks rolled into one…….got to admire her effortless style! Not a great fan of musicals on this site but with such a line up this is something that has got to be worth seeing to rival the likes of the last monster musical “Mamma Mia”.

The Plot:

Having reached the age of fifty, director Guido Contini (Daniel Day-Lewis) is facing a midlife crisis that is stifling his creativity and leading him into a variety of complicated romantic involvements. As he struggles to complete his latest film, he is forced to balance the numerous formative women in his life, including his wife (Marion Cotillard), his mistress (PenÃ©lope Cruz), his film star muse (Nicole Kidman), his confidant and costume designer (Judi Dench), an American fashion journalist (Kate Hudson), a prostitute from his youth (Fergie), and his mother (Sophia Loren).
