To look at Katy Perry, her songs, her stage props and her look, you wouldn’t immediately say she was the daughter of devout Evangelical Christian parents but she is and thats who she took her new love Russell Brand to Meet!

With Russell Brand the comedian famous for his wild and womanising ways and his former heroin addict and alcoholic past and getting involved with Katy Perry you would think her Evangelist parents would not be too pleased about the whole situation.

But it looks like they may strangely enough be getting on with Keith Hudson (Katies dad) giving Russell Brand a religious book called “The Cry” designed to “release the desperate longing for Gods intervention in your life” and Russell Brand in return gave his autobiography “My Booky Wook” which goes into great details about his rock and roll lifestyle complete with naughty bits. A meeting of the ways there……..remains to be seen?

According to The Sun Keith and Mary Hudson are seeking divine intervention to stop Russell cheating on Katy. Seems to be working so far!
