From a large choice of names none of which really stood out amongst the others apart from one and that’s Blake Lively of Gossip Girl fame that seems to be getting an increasing “lively” media buzz around her lately.

Other choices were her co stars on Gossip Girl firstly being Leighton Meester, we think early 2010 things could be happening for her, Taylor Momsen who is also in a band, again poss 2010 and Jessica Szohr, newbie again another 2010 shot.

Amy Winehouse was incredibly close as she seems to be sorting her life out and her helping her godaughter Dionne Broomfield out via her Lioness Record Label was a big plus point,Â she was very close but we think her time is not now but some time in 2010 with this mysterious third album showing its face at long last? if it does the Wino comeback will be massive news!

Megan Fox was another possibility and the Avatar animated film due for release in December featuring female stars such as ZoÃ« SaldaÃ±a, Sigourney Weaver and our favourite Michelle Rodriguez were also front runners as this is a groundbreaking film from the director of the multi award winning film Titanic that contains groundbreaking technology to create the breathtaking shots. From what we’ve seen this really does look a decent film if that’s your thing.

Blake Lively was the choice in the end, one we’ve circled for the last couple of months to be beaten by Cheryl Cole in October (that was definetly CC month) and Kristen Stewart in November with the ever popular New Moon….no competition,Â but December is one of the best months to be on the front page and with a constant stream of news especially from Gossip Girl she will be prime news focus in December!
