After her appearance on Saturday Night live we thought Taylor Swift had won an award for her comedy sketch on that show. On closer inspection she has one “song of the year” at the BMI Country Awards for her song “Love Story” and she won this same award also last year for her song “Teardrops on my guitar”

The event was held in Nashville, Tennessee and is the warm up to the next big event the Country Music Awards, and this award could be an omen for more awards to come at this CMA event. As far as we are aware this award acceptance speech at the BMI’s went ahead pretty normally with no unexpected interuptions!
