Dame Shirley Bassey New Album: The Performance!

Huge name and legendary vocals that pre dates even the likes of Comeback Whitney Houston. Shirley Bassey has a new album out and she is (if you can believe it) 72!

She is famous for her theme songs for the James Bond Films including “Goldfinger” and “Diamonds are Forever”. This new release is her first album for more than 20 years.

Renowned for her more classical vocal style, she’s decided to go all modern on us and has collaborated with some of todays best stars and songwriters to produce her latest studio album.

Gary Barlow, KT Tunstall, Richard Hawley, Rufus Wainwright and The Pet Shop Boys have all had some input along with Manic Street Preachers who has decided to come along for the ride.

One of her songs lyrics mentions that “I Will stay the girl from Tiger Bay” a mention to her humble roots in Tiger Bay, Cardiff, Wales will always be a part of her life no matter how famous she is!
