Whitney Houston Live on X Factor. Video

Whitney Houston the comeback Queen was another big name offering on X Factor this Sunday and she performed her new single “Million Dollar Bill” in front of an estimated audience of 14M to give her single and album some more publicity and promotion not that we think anymore is needed!

This was her first appearance live on British TV in 12 years. so nervous for her is not the word and the pressure must have been immense. Years of drug abuse in the past and her age now at 46 have taken it’s toll on her legendary voice but even after all that is taken into account she still outclasses a lot of the modern day stars.

Apparently again it looks like Whitney took the pre-recorded route with a pre-recording forming the back drop for a live voice over. Mixed verdicts from viewers and critics alike from pretty grim to amazing and all shades in between. A few more live performances will get her nearer the amazing category but she knows she will never match her “I Will Always Love You” days, those days are gone!

Main headline that’s hitting the press is “the wardrobe malfunction” that raised a few eyebrows and notably Whitney noticed and wasn’t too happy about. She wore a long silver strappy dress and one of the straps at the back snapped open. She jokingly said “I sang myself out of my dress” but it very nearly could have been another famous Janet Jackson event of 2004!

Robbie Williams also had problems the week before when he struggled to get onto the stage as the stage doors were jammed, Something probably classed a stage malfunction, so Whitney is not alone on this!
