The 2009 MTV VMA Awards were held last night in New York and Michael Jackson was very much in focus at this awards event with his sister Janet Jackson paying tribute to the king of pop by doing a live performance and before that Madonna said some words in respect to the late Michael Jackson. Other live performances included Lady GaGa, Green Day and Alica Keys who dueted with Jay Z.

Lady GaGa was on form turning up in what is her version of red carpet attire which looks to us to be a highly sculpted swimming costume, could this be the start of a new red carpet trend. We hope it is!
