Mariah Carey New Fragrance, New Obsessed Video, and Latest News!

Mariah Carey never out of the news, diva extraordinaire although she strongly denies any of these diva claims, and maybe she is right. Trouble is we still can’t get the luggage mountains and huge sized bring London to a standstill entourage sightings, we think they just give the “diva” game away a little bit, as far as we are concerned, but we could be wrong!.

So what has she been up to? First off she is getting into smells again of the nice kind and has a new fragrance out which is a follow up to her previous offerings called “M” and “Luscious Pink” and this new one is called “Forever”. For those who are heavily into these things, as perfumes are a bit like fine wines, this perfume contains notes of lotus blossom, tuberose, gardenia, exotic woods and white musk and apparently this perfume creates a glamorous feeling that Mariah has everyday, now you can have it as well, how much it costs to get this feeling we are not sure!

Second headline her new album release is on hold, but, whispered in a very quiet voice “it is rumoured to now be released on Sept 29 and is called “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel”. Her new single “Obsessed” which is supposed to be having a pop at Eminem where Mariah features in various male and female guises See (previous post for video shoot pics) is now out on You Tube and has been for a month or so unofficially. Thirdly not one for being snubbed at award ceremonies which we have to say is another “Diva” trait,Â the Grammy Awards have only awarded Mariah 5 awards since 1991 and she has been nominated 21 times. It is rumoured from various sources that she will not be attending this years event in effect a snub before yet what could be ” another snub” by the Grammy’s.Â Snubbing to avoid being snubbed is what it is called in the trade, could make the Grammy Award judges sit up and think and maybe give her an award to avoid being snubbed again in the future……….but we wouldn’t bet on it!

Ending on a more positive noteÂ the Toronto Film Festival which is a 10 day film festival starting on September 10th and it’s a biggie will be featuring a film we ranked highly called “Precious” and appeared at the Cannes Film FestivalÂ (see previous post) which stars Mariah Carey as a rather very non diva looking social worker, the film is starting to get critics excited and Mariah Carey and her performance in this film has been very well received and also impressed us greatly here, Glitter this film is certainly not!
