Victoria Beckham and Katy Perry to Guest Judge on “American Idol”?

Victoria Beckham is to appear as guest judge on American Idol and she is apparently doing the filming for this appearance this week. The former Spice Girl turned fashion designer and also fashion model who was hotly rumoured at one stage to replace Paula Abdul on a permanent basis will be appearing on the show but just the once in guest form.

PhotoÂ below a rather different unconvetional shot of VB, not something you expect from her, just showing she likes to have fun like everybody else.

Victoria is getting quite a buzz news wise around her recently with her appearance in a new set of Armani ads that are due to go live soon in poster form with VB showing how to climb up ladders in heels whilst wearing just underwear….Armani of course.

A number of other artists will be guest judging on American Idol and Katy Perry is another female star that looks a strong candidate to appear on the show in guest form and that could be interesting. What she will wear and whether she brings any giant props are the burning questions?

This all looks to confirm that Paula Abdul has in effect left and the answer to this lack of fourth judge and the inability to find somebody of that calibre at short notice has led the shows producers, Fox, to come up with an alternative strategy, and that is guest judges for this seasons show to fill the vacant fourth seat, and provide a bit of variety each week and a pretty good idea it is!
