Julia Roberts on Set of New Film “Eat, Pray, Love” in NYC

If you live in New York you are currently surrounded by films that are currently in production and the latest one that is on the move is called “Eat, Pray, Love” and stars non other than Julia Roberts who plays the author Elizabeth Gilbert and co-stars James Franco who plays her lover.

The film is about a writer that sets off on a soul searching journey after her divorce where she eats, prays and love’s in three countries Italy, India and Indonesia.

Produced by Brad Pitt’s Plan B Productions with direction by Ryan Murphy. From what we are seeing in the form of credentials here this looks to be a decent production and has a weighty presence and an interesting story line and looks like one to watch!

Filming has currently started in Manhattan where things are in the very early stages and some sample photos below show Julia Roberts on set and we assume script reading.
