Paris Hilton Lasagne Shopping and Celeb Tip No5

Paris Hilton was spotted over the weekend shopping in Bel Air at her local Deli, and we have a few photos of her here, buying some ingredients to make lasagne as apparently according to the paps she was having friends over later in the day.

This article forms the basis for Celeb Tip No 5 because when you go shopping and you are a celeb especially in Hollywood its not just a case of slipping anything on, grab you car keys and shopping list and head off to a supermarket, buy your stuff and then head back home. It’s just not that simple!

This Celeb tip isÂ a Paris Hilton one based on tongue in cheek photographic observations and it goes something like this.

1. Don’t try too hard in the clothing department, but look cool, black you can’t go wrong with, goes with anything especially pink if thats your favourite colour which in PH’s case it is.

2. When you set off to the store, the paps will be following you, drive just fast enough to give them something to chase, but not so fast that they lose you, and whatever you do, don’t drive so slow they would never lose you, you mustn’t let on that you even know they are there.And by the way DO NOT check in your rear view mirror toÂ see if they are following….VERY UNCOOL!

3. When you arrive at the store again don’t let on that you know the paps are there and don’t get out of the car straightaway, do some girly stuff like fluffing up your hair, checking your make up in the rear view mirror, adjusting you clothing, you know the sort of thing, spend a good few minutes doing this, gives the paps a chance to get their camera’s and gear ready and get out of their cars and lock them up and get those flashes fully charged.

4. Heading into the store, this part is very important, just walk calm and casual as if nobody is there, sort of like in slow motion, and definetly do not acknowledge that you are surrounded by an army of paps trying to shoot you from every angle.

5. The Supermarket Trolley. Vitally important this, always pick the right one, do not end up with the trolley from hell with a mind of its own, you know the ones, always but always get a good trolley, this will end up in the scandal press the next day if you get this wrong and can ruin your career overnight.

6. When in the store, buying pasta ingredients really only takes 5-10 minutes tops, drag it out as long as possible, really sexy up the proceedings and get advice from the store staff, cause as much commotion as possible to reinforce the fact that you are “a celebrity” and a VIP and the whole store comes to a standstill when you visit. Even look at some things that are nothing to do with lasagne, this will all be noted by the paps and will be in the gossip rags the following day.

7. Footwear, its very difficult to tell designer shoes from the cheaper copies, top tip from PH get a designer pair of shoes with the label actually written on the outside of the shoe called Monogrammed, if it happens to be your own label even better. Unsubtle but it works, hang around outside the store and make sure this gets noticed and photographed, don’t leave until this objective has been achieved.

8. Once your shopping is done and the paps have had their fill, you can head to your car at a normal speed and forget steps 1-7 your job is done, and head off home safe in the knowledge that all these photos will be in the gossip columns and gossip style blogs the following day, keeping your publicity profile sky high FOC, and all for just popping down to your local store and buying some stuff for making lasagne!
