Dannii Minogue hits LA and the Cheryl Cole “Battle of the Shades”

Dannii Minogue is in LA for a week of meetings with top US agencies all set up by the top agency William Morris Endeavour, this is merely days after her X Factor judge colleague Cheryl Cole landed in LA .This is Dannii’s Â bid to get a US Career and crack the US market mainly focused on TV. She feels after her 2 UK X Factor Show Appearances and also her appearance on Australia’s Got Talent she now has what it takes to take on the US in a big way. It is rumoured that Cheryl may be helping her in this bid and the timing of Dannii’s visit is no coincidence!

On a more tongue in cheek note not to be taken too seriously, the silent style wars are still going on, but there is a new battle underway, and it’s the “battle of the shades”. Not something you will see in any history book, the “battle of the shades” is a private battle between Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue. Look closely in the photos, they are both wearing incredibly similar round rimmed shades with similar colour lenses, but Cheryl Cole has opted for full colour very gradual fade lenses whereas Dannii Minogue has opted for theÂ accelerated gradual fade lens. Which will win in the style wars remains to be seen, but its becoming increasingly apparent that Dannii Minogue in this seasons X Factor is looking to at least match, if not beat, the Cheryl Cole X Factor.

With a reported Â£1M contract signed for the latest X Factor Show Appearance, Dannii Minogue certainly has the financial clout to maybe pull this oneÂ off and win the “battle of the shades” and the X Factor “style wars”!
