Emma Watson to appear in New Marilyn Manson film “Cinderella”

An interesting headline concerning Emma Watson the Harry Potter and new Burberry front lady, she is to appear in a new film adaptation of the fairytaleÂ ”Cinderella” which is to be produced Â by non other than famous Goth Music star Marilyn Manson and its a musical by all accounts.

It’s an interesting headline as everybody knows that Emma is looking to head off to university for 3 years late this summer in the States, and take a break from acting, with some sources saying she wants toÂ leave acting altogether. So this headline which is courtesy of respected Associated Press seems to contradict all of this, unless she plans to work the filming of this round her future studies, which can be done in exceptional circumstances, and we would say Emma Watson could be classed as exceptional circumstances.

It is unclear what musical or directorial involvement Marilyn Manson will have in this film and production dates and further information is as yet pretty sketchy to say the least as it is still in the ideas and creative phase. We would say with Manson’s involvement in this film it will have at the very least some strong Goth undercurrents. A Gothic Cinderalla…..could be interesting!

If this actually pans out then this will be Emma Watson’s first film roleÂ outside of the Harry Potter series!

On a different note, romantically according to the Mirror her boyfriend of 16 months financier Jay Barrymore looks set to move into Emma Watson’s Â£3mil house and see how things go. They met in 2008 at an awards ceremony. Exciting times ahead for Emma Watson!
