Angelina Jolie and World Refugee Day 2009 Filming of Video and Photos.

Angelina Jolie was in Washington D.C forÂ the filmingÂ of the World Refugee Day 2009 Video which is to be broadcast on June 20 globally. Angie is the UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador and is hoping with this video toÂ create awarenessÂ of the plight of millions around the world who are forced to evacuate their homes due to war.

This is another side of celebrity life that you don’t see so much, but there’s a formula in the celebrity world which when you delve deeper, they are all aware of. When celebrity status is given to you……..you have to use that status to put something back into the world and help people less fortunate than yourself somewhere down the line, its an unwritten rule, but its there. Refined you could say the people have put you where you are now, you have to give something back to the people. This can be money or more importantly time.

A couple of articles we ran recently included Jennifer Garner and Jessica Alba visiting Washington D.C to get some serious backing for their relative causes and Angie in action here proves more of the same. It’s something they don’t shout from the rooftops, but find your favourite star and behind the scenes they are backing a cause……..pretty much guaranteed…… if they are not now they will be in the future.
