Kyra Sedgwick was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday June 8th and joins the masses of the Hollywood elite to have her name permanently in star format on Hollywood Boulevard. Kyra  recently won a  Golden Globe Award in 2007 for Best Actress for her lead role in a dramatic TV series for her in role in Closer but now she has officially arrived!

The 43 year old actress is now the 2384th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Her husband is non other than Kevin Bacon who also attended the event and Kyra’s new star was strategically next to Kevin’s who also has a star on this famous walk.

Other stars that attended included Anthony John Denison, Corey Reynolds, Eric Garcetti, G.w. Bailey, Lee Daniels, Leron Gubler, Michael Paul Chan, Robert Gossett.
