Heather Graham was at “The Hangover” Los Angeles Premiere which was held at
Grauman’s Chinese Theatre last night June 2 in Hollywood and a few names turned up for this one which is being billed as “the comedy of the year”. Quite a billing so we thought we’d take a closer look!
Heather Graham (photo above) plays the suffering female lead (Jade) in this film in an otherwise pretty much all male cast that includes Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms , Zach Galifianakis, Justin Bartha, Jeffrey Tambor, and also featuring Mike Tyson as Himself!
Heather Graham is another star that has been around some time, but first came into famedom with her role as Rollergirl in the 1997 Film Boogie Nights. She’s also appeared in Scream 2, Lost in Space, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, The Guru and appeared as the girl in the red dress in a bar a priceless scene that stuck in the mind, in a top rated film “Anger Management” that starred Marisa Tomei, Adam Sandler and non other than Jack Nicholson.
Graham has been in relationships with artist Chris Doyle, musicians Jason Falkner and Adam Ant, and actors James Woods, Kyle MacLachlan, Elias Koteas, Heath Ledger, Elijah Blue, and Edward Burns. You could say she has experienced life!
Heather Graham on the red carpet in a red dress stole the show for us at this event.

The Verdict:
Trailer based only verdict this, from the posters its being billed as the best comedy of the year (yes another one) and those sort of statements induce the cringe factor before we have even seen the film and muttering…. “oh dear…here we go again!”
A bit of a mixed batch in the cast line up, but the story does sound good and leaves plenty of room for a bit of chaos, and this is a lads film of the first order playing on some nightmare scenarios that you just hope you never get into when you have one of those wild nights out, that you just can’t remember anything about the next day, because it was that good!
So with expectations pretty much veering towards the lower side of things here, bar the storyline, the film it has to be said does look very good indeed, if not a bit on the silly side. Critics will hate this, we love it, had us cracking up and in stitches and thats what comedies are supposed to do. As ridiculous as this film looks, all these things can happen and is not beyond the realms of impossibility, and unfortunately there’s a bit of talking from experience here!
Comedy films on this site tend to go no higher than 3 stars, horror more of the same, as laughs tend to be at the expense of the finer points of film making, but this does look to be incredibly funny, and just could live up to its billing of best comedy of the year. Rating 3 stars out of 5 +++++++…We like and its a must see if this is your thing!
Box Office wise could be very interesting, we think this could do very well, but we could be proved wrong here. Regardless, if you are having a bad day such as at work or college, go and see this, and you’ll realise things are not as bad as you thought, and you’ll have some guaranteed hysterical hyena style laughter in the process along with the rest of the cinema, and in this day and age that can’t be a bad thing!
