Beyonce and Solange Knowles London O2 After Party

Beyonce Knowles was in town yesterday 25 May for her London, UK leg of the “I Am…” TourÂ which was performed at the O2 Arena. Billed as one of the events of the year, she did notÂ let her fans down and dazzled with dazzling sets to match, and proved why she is indeed one of the worlds leading Divas.

Enormous media coverage of her in the UK with full photos, pointless repeating whats already out there, we’ve decided to take a different angle on Beyonce and her visit to London and focusedÂ on the “I Am…” Tour After Party Event held at the Indig02 at the 02 Arena (photo of her live above) . This is a smaller more intimate style venue with more of a gig sort of atmosphere, and this was an interesting performance as Beyonce made it a family affair and performed live as expected but also brought her sister along Solange Knowles to perform some of her numbers as well along with Jay Z watching in the audience.

Solange is following in the family footsteps and doing whats in her blood and thats singing and performing. We have heard some of her material, she seems to go for the retro sound, Â check out this Solange Knowles post, she’s not in the same league as Beyonce, not quite as talented and volume wise she’s not so in your face either, something she accepts, but there is something there that a career could be based on albeit probably nowhere near as succesful as her diva limelight hugging sister.
