Jennifer Garner visited on 5 May quite an important place going by the name of Capitol Hill in Washington D.C.  She was with Mark Shriver of Save the Children and and they met with members of congress for a luncheon to discuss the launch of the 2009 State Of The World’s Mothers Report on Capitol Hill. The campaign is to call on President Obama to raise $2bn dollars in additional funding for early education programs for children.

Jennifer Garner also attended with  her mother Pat Garner a press conference to launch the 2009 State of the World’s Mothers Report at the Rosemount Center  also on May 5,  earlier that day in Washington, DC and she also read to some young children before the Capitol Hill meeting.

Just a little insight into what this lady and celebrity gets up to when not on the red carpet or filming, just trying to make a difference and help people,  a good samaritan she certainly is!
