Leighton Meester and On Set of “The Room Mate” and Latest News

Leighton Meester who plays Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl appeared last night at the The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion Costume Institute Gala in New York causing chaos with a technicolour red carpet number and the new blonde look which is hitting the headlines. She has certainly caught our eye here, but then she always does. When women do dramatic hair colour changes, its always best to take a closer look and keep an eye on them, and see whats going on, regardless of who they are, especially when its a female celebrity website.

Not ultra fresh news this, but she is apparently in the process of recording an album which will be her first foray into the music world which is rumoured to be released in Autumn 2009. She is currently filming for a new film called “The Room Mate” where she plays a psycho college student roomy and this film has a similar plot line to the classic film “Single White Female”. From what we are seeing of the picture above, this looks like the room mate from hell! She is also due to appear on the front cover of the June Issue of Cosmo Mag in slightly tamer sort of photo circumstances. She also has a second film project on the horizon a comedy also starring Tina Fey and Steve Carrell called “Date Night”
