Kate Hudson and Cartier 100th Anniversary Event, New York

Cartier the French watchmaker and Jeweller celebrated its 100th Anniversary in style last night in New York and you just know thereÂ has to be aÂ female celebrity turnout on this one! The event was held at Cartier Fifth Avenue Mansion, in effectÂ the flagship store, New York.

There was a smattering of A Lister female celebs in attendance all vying for the best dressed red carpet award, there isn’t one officially, but they all know these sort of events get in the press and on the internet, if you were looking the hottest on the night, you get in the headlines and its a bit of free publicity that can’t do your career and public profile any harm at all!

Kate Hudson did it for us in a black dress with cut away detailing and diamond necklace (pictured above) , simple and stunning. She Â beat off the likes (in our opinion) of Rachel Weisz (below) who looked nearly as good, Demi Moore again very good (below) , and Anne Hathaway and her number we were not so sure about (below), Â and Jessica Biel who dressed down for the event in a more subdued number (not pictured) but see event thumbs link.
