The BAFTA Television Awards were held last night at the Royal Festival Hall in London and this had a superior turnout. It was more of a case of trying to work out who was NOT there than who was actually there. A distinguished list of Brit TV talent, Harry Hill was star of the show beating off Jonathan Ross who was heavily nominated, and Harry scopped up 3 gongs, a comic supremo if ever there was!

Mischa Barton and Michelle Ryan at the TV Baftas in London
Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders scooped the BAFTA Fellowship award which is equivalent to the lifetime achievement award. Anna Maxwell Martin won the best actress award. No awards were given for best female celeb red carpet appearance but in our opinion the ladies in red Patsy Kensit (pictured at bottom) and Michelle Ryan (pictured above) stole the show and Michelle Ryan Eastenders and Doctor Who guest appearance at Easter 09 and a former No1 hitter in the early days of FJ Girls grabs the headline! Jane Goldman won the headturning award on the red carpet with her pink hair and devil horns. Photo at bottom.
