Sienna Miller is hitting the headlines for her new role in the film GI Joe Rise of Cobra where she appears as a brunette leather clad gun toting force to be reckoned with, the look impressed the hell out of us here, but the film critics think other wise and the film is getting what they call in the trade “panned”. The Cinema Society and Links of London host a screening of The Mysteries of Pittsburgh

She was recently spotted in NYC at The Cinema Society and Links of London hosted  screening of ‘The Mysteries of Pittsburgh which was held at the Landmark Sunshine Theater in NYC (see previos post). Picture by: Demis Maryannakis. Another film not getting the critics thumbs up and she does star in it, but sometimes these are the best…………..but not always!

Finally her appearance on “The Sheriff of Nottingham” as Maid Marian which didn’t pan out for various reasons and she left the film production in January this year, and she is now officially replaced by non other than Cate Blanchett.  We interestingly read recently in a London paper that Miller has been quoted as saying she was told she was too young for the role and they needed a more mature looking actress to play Maid Marian. Superb explanation for the Blanchett replacement, only mystery is, why didn’t they realise this when they first took her on?

Sienna is always one to watch closely, it will be interesting to see how these Sienna Miller starred films do at the box office,  hopefully they will prove the critics wrong, and more importantly it will be interesting to see what her next choice of film will be in the future!
