Blake Lively of Gossip Girl fame was on Letterman last night at the Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York and she really looked the biz all in pink, and gold heels, a short and sweet interview from a very nice girl, interview is below. Gossip Girl regularly shoots in New York and this site has loads of footage but apparently the stars of the show according to Blake have been shooting this show pretty much for a year, full on, that is one tough schedule

The shooting started just after the writers strike of early 2008Â and they will be on a much needed break from next Wednesday. Find out where she will be spending her time off in the interview.

Very bubbly girl is Blake Lively, and the 21 year old actress is lively by name and lively by nature. She plays Serena van der Woodsen on the hit TV show. According to the Daily Mail she is dating her co star Penn Badgley and has been doing so for the last year but its all hush hush and top secret!

Due to the intensity of the filming of Gossip Girl on a weekly basis Blake has mentioned as good as this role is, it is stopping her from taking up film offers, as they are hard to fit into the Gossip Girl heavy schedule and not all films are shot in New York and keen on a star flitting from 1 shoot to another. She has appeared in the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants Movies, she’s only 21, probably a good idea to keep an eye on this one for future movie developments.
