Christina Ricci spotting in LA and Engagement News!

Things have been a bit quiet Christina Ricci wise lately, the last time we remember her in the major news headlines was with her appearance in the film “Speed Racer” some time ago. Thats the way things are in the actress world, one minute you are on the red carpet and the world is at your feet and you are headline news, the next you are technically unemployed with not a dime coming in and firmly out of the limelight, Lindsay Lohan would be a very current case in point, althoughÂ LiLo in all honestyÂ is never out of the limelight for reasons everybody is aware!

The paps are all too aware of this phenonenom and when stars are not in the top headlines they are easier toÂ photograph and in our opinion these make the better pictures and the stars probably don’t mind a bit of attention.Â But it looks likeÂ Nina RicciÂ is starting to hit the headlines as she has just recently got engaged to comedian Owen Benjamin (above) which is an interesting choice, as she is a mere 5ft 1in and her new fiance is a whopping 6ft 6in.Â They met on the set of “Alls Faire in Love”. Reminds us of another couple made up ofÂ the shorter actress Eva Longoria with her unequally tall husband Tony Parker.

Ricci and BenjaminÂ have recently been spotted house hunting apparently in Silver Lake, Los Angeles and also spotted in Borders Book Store in LA and there’s a Christina Ricci “moment” photo belowÂ where she briefly lets her guard down by removing her shades which a pap who just happened to be there at the time??,Â Â has managed to capture.
