Girls Aloud NEW Official Video

Girls Aloud don’t hang around with single releases, they’ve got yet another new one out called “The Loving Kind” taken from their NEW album “Out of Control” which is the follow up to their recent offering that got to No1 for a week “The Promise” which as far as we know is still in the UK single charts.

Get the feeling they are looking for a christmas No1 and a boost for their christmas album sales as well. Take That and their new single and album could cause problems in that department, we have heard, and its getting rave reviews,  plus loads of other female stars launching new quality singles as well such as Leona Lewis and Run!

So whats the song like. Within 20 seconds we were both thumbs up on this one straight away, better than “The Promise” regardless of how well it did in the charts, just didn’t do it for us at all in any shape or form. One of those songs where you are watching the progress bar.

With “The Loving Kind” we are back into the Girls Aloud that everybody loves, Girls are looking good, the song makes good use of their harmony, which is what they are renowned for, individually there are question marks, together they are a wall of harmonious girly notes. The video sets the girls of blindingly, its thumping, tuneful, catchy, shelf life is the only thing that stops this getting a 4 star rating, does get a bit repetitive, but that repetitiveness drills the tune in your brain pretty effectively, but the girls are looking very hot which pushes it nearer to the 4 star rating again, but we are settling on a Rating of 3.5 stars out of  5 +++.  We Like..We Like!

Chart success, should do well, definetly No1 material, it’s the competition thats the only thing that stands in its way. First track off a new album is not always the best, if this song is an indicator of what else is to come, 2009 looks to be another good year for the girls!
