As everybody knows she is to release a third album and she is currently working on this new project, so a release date is not yet available.

She was recently admitted to hospital again, for treatment of a chest infection which sparked off some serious rumours that she may have lost her singing voice completely and her future career was in question. The rumours were given a wide birth on this site until there was some solid confirmation that this was in fact the case. Her publicist according to recent press statements some days later has denied this strongly and has said “Amy is fine’ and work on her new album is continuing after her treatment as far as we can fathom.

Live performances have been postponed while she works on this new album for the forseeable future, it’s a creative process and these things take time, some days and especially nights ideas abound, sometimes weeks there will be fallow periods of absolutely nothing, just like writing a novel or creating a work of art.

The main headline news is Amy’s husband Blake Fielder Civil has been released from his prison sentence in suffolk early on 5 October but strict conditions are attached. An important development in her life with far reaching consequences. He has been checked into a rehab centre in Surrey where he has to undergo treatment before he can be released back into the public domain due to the nature of the offences that were committed prior to his prison sentence.

The latest rumours circulating are that the rehab payment fees of Â£30,000 which have been put in Amy’s direction have been declined by her, which is also sparking off rumours that the marriage could be in trouble. The press and friends are also saying that she has not visited Blake since his admittance into the Surrey rehab adding more fuel to the supposed marital problems rumours.

This completelyÂ contradicts the headlines when some months back, it was reported she was to buy a house in Suffolk to be near her husband who was in prison there, and many photo’s abound of her in london and live on stage with a blake badge in her beehive and claiming undying love. She also has a Blake tattoo………Make of it what you will?

On a lighter note, Amy’s favourite local pub according to media, “The Hawley Arms” in Camden Town, which got burnt down the same night she won the five Grammy awards and which got mentioned in her acceptance speech, has been reopened and refurbished. All this information is press based, some sensationalist, some fact and has to be taken with a pinch of salt, the razorlight rooftop gig…. is fact! Either way things in Amy’s life are the normal state of affairs with “turbulence” and “instability” and “unpredictability” and “knife edge” being the words that affect her present life.

2009 looks to be a year of dramatic change for this lady, as we keep saying, things seem to be leading unavoidably in that direction, in what shape or form this change takes, remains to be seen. A lot of extreme views on this lady on forums and You Tube, and blogs, this site remains neutral, as this lady has supreme talent and regardless of her life and how it is conducted, her addiction and personality…..we have the utmost respect for that talent.
