Olga Kurylenko and Quantum of Solace Opening Day Box Office Record!

Quantum of Solace as predicted has smashed box office records on its first day of release on 31 October and even Haloween didn’t put a dampers on the box office numbers.

Quantum of Solace starring Daniel Craig and Olga Kurylenko (pictured above) took £4.9million in ticket sales and thats just on its first day of release. The existing record was held by Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire which achieved £4.025million on its first day of release which was also on a Friday.

The number of people that flocked to see Quantum of Solace dwarfed the number that went to see Casino Royale, which is quite an achievement considering the current economic climate.
